Job Title: Manager Projects
Direct Report: Project Management Officer
Location: Jakarta
Job Purpose:
Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing construction projects within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
Main Accountabilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Execution & Coordination
- Manage all phases of construction from start to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor site progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Cost & Budget Control
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Approve project-related expenditures and manage cost control measures.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Quality & Safety Management
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present progress reports and updates.
- Manage change orders and variations effectively.
- Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigations strategies.
- Monitor and update risk registers throughout the project.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training where needed.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration among all parties.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience: Min. 7-10 years in construction project management (with 3-5 years in a managerial role)
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc)
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
