Job Position: Senior Sales Engineer
Job Location: Bekasi, West Java 
Company Profile: Our client is a prominent value stockist and specialist based in Bekasi, representing European brands in the SEA market, with our headquarters based in Singapore.
Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical solutions for valves, actuators, and related industrial products. This role requires strong technical knowledge, field experience, and the ability to understand complex industrial processes.

Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities across oil & gas, petrochemical, power, manufacturing, and general industry sectors.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts and decision-makers (procurement, engineering, maintenance, project teams).
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to management.

2. Technical Consultation & Solution Selling

  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable valve, actuator, or automation solutions.
  • Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
  • Support customers during product evaluation, selection, and specification stages.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions.

3. Project & Bid Management

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with principals, suppliers, and internal teams for pricing, delivery, and product validation.

4. Client Support & After-Sales Service

  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Work with service teams to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and develop long-term partnerships.

5. Market Research & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends.
  • Provide regular sales reports, activity updates, and market insights to management.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, exhibitions, and technical events.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of valve-related sales experiences.
  • Proven annual sales track record of at least IDR 6 billion (consistently for at least 3 years).
  • Ideally 8-10 years of total experiences.
