Job Location: Solo, Central Java
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to play a key leadership role in our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality consistency, leading quality teams, and driving cross-functional improvement initiatives. The role requires strong strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with direct impact on product yield, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Strategy & Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the quality engineering and inspection teams.
- Define team objectives, establish KPIs, and implement performance management systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Quality Inspection & Process Control
- Oversee incoming inspection, in-process quality control, and final inspection activities.
- Ensure products comply with internal QA/QC standards and continuously review inspection processes for improvement.
- Issue Analysis & Corrective Actions
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues and customer complaints.
- Develop, implement, and track corrective and preventive action plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement.
- Data-Driven Quality Management
- Establish and review quality data analysis systems.
- Prepare regular quality reports for management decision-making.
- Identify potential risks and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met during new product development and mass production.
- Act as the key quality contact for customers and handle quality-related communications.
- Quality System & Audit Management
- Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
- Prepare for and respond to internal, customer, and third-party audits.
- Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above; engineering, manufacturing, or qualityrelated disciplines preferred.
- Approximately 5 years or more of experience in quality management or QA/QC roles, preferably within manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods, statistical analysis, and problem-solving tools.
- Familiar with quality management systems and audit processes.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in the footwear industry is a strong plus.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin
