Overview
A leading provider in the industrial networking and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) connectivity space is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to drive growth and manage strategic sales efforts in Indonesia. This role involves working closely with enterprise clients, system integrators, mobile network operators, and distributors across various industries such as smart city, energy, transportation, banking, retail, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
- Lead direct sales efforts for M2M/industrial connectivity products (e.g., industrial routers, gateways, LTE/5G devices, VPN routers).
- Manage the end-to-end sales process including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Acquire new enterprise and government customers.
2. Industry Penetration
- Develop opportunities in verticals such as:
- Smart cities (CCTV, kiosks, traffic systems)
- Utilities (remote metering, solar monitoring)
- Transportation (GPS tracking, telematics)
- Banking/Retail (POS, ATM, networking)
- Manufacturing/Industry 4.0
3. Solution Design & Customer Engagement
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored M2M solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design and delivery.
- Support SIM connectivity and remote platform integration.
4. Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory policies (e.g., TKDN, Postel, SIM bundling).
- Report on pipeline, forecasts, and market positioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Business.
- 5+ years of experience in M2M, IoT, or B2B Telco/Industrial Networking sales in Indonesia.
- Familiarity with industrial connectivity brands and technologies (LTE/5G, VPN, IoT SIM, remote management platforms).
- Experience working with channel partners and Telco ecosystems.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Proactive, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Revenue performance (monthly/quarterly)
- Number of active partners and their output
- New accounts and project wins
- Channel sell-through and inventory turnover
- Pipeline growth and conversion rate
- Market share in key industry sectors

- Office-based in Jakarta with frequent customer visits
