Qualification & Requirements

  • Have a solid foundation in electrical engineering, automation control, or related professional knowledge, deeply understand core courses such as circuit theory, analogy circuits, digital circuits, power electronics technology, and automatic control theory, and be able to use this knowledge to solve practical electrical technical problems.
  • Be proficient in common electrical design software used in digital welding equipment, Proficient in electrical design software used in digital welding, and be able to design circuit schematics, perform PCB layout and routing, and carry out electrical control system simulations. Could independently complete complex electrical system designs.
  • Be familiar with the characteristics and selection principles of various electrical components, including but not limited to welding power supplies, controllers, sensors, actuators, relays, and contactors. Be able to choose and configure electrical components reasonably according to welding process requirements and equipment performance indicators to ensure the reliability and stability of the electrical system.
  • Master the application of digital control technologies in the welding field and have the ability to write and debug digital welding control programs. Be familiar with at least one common programmable logic controller (PLC) or motion controller programming language and development environment, such as [specific PLC brand and programming software], to achieve automated control and precise regulation of the welding process.
  • Be proficient in using electrical testing instruments and equipment, such as oscilloscopes, mustimeters, power analysers, and insulation resistance testers. Be able to accurately measure and analyse key parameters of the electrical system, such as voltage, current, power, and frequency. Make scientific judgments and in – depth analyses of test results to provide strong support for optimizing the electrical system and troubleshooting.
  • Have a certain understanding of welding processes, be familiar with the characteristics and requirements of different welding methods (such as MIG/MAG welding, TIG welding, and pulse welding), and be able to provide constructive solutions for welding process improvement and optimization from an electrical control perspective to achieve an organic combination of welding processes and electrical systems.

    
Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of the electrical systems of digital welding equipment, including but not limited to circuit design, electrical component selection, and control system integration, to meet product performance, quality, and safety standards and improve welding efficiency and quality stability.
  • Conduct research and development of electrical technologies related to digital welding processes, and apply advanced electrical technologies, algorithms, and control strategies, such as pulse welding control technology and intelligent welding parameter self – adaptive adjustment, to promote the digitalization, automation, and intelligent upgrading of welding processes.
  • Participate in the entire research and development process of digital welding equipment, work closely with mechanical design, software development, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and coordinated operation of the electrical system with other components, complete electrical design tasks within the product development cycle on time, and solve electrical technical problems arising in the project.
  • Prepare the design documents, technical specifications, operation manuals, test reports, and other technical materials for digital welding electrical systems to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the documents and provide a solid basis for product production, debugging, maintenance, and subsequent improvements.
  • Conduct electrical performance testing, fault diagnosis, and analysis of digital welding equipment, use professional testing instruments and tools to evaluate the performance and reliability of key electrical components such as welding power supplies, control systems, and sensors, quickly identify and resolve electrical faults occurring during equipment operation, and ensure normal equipment operation.
  • Track and research the development trends of electrical technologies and industry dynamics in the field of digital welding, actively introduce new electrical design concepts, technologies, and products, provide forward – looking suggestions and solutions for the company’s technology research and development and product innovation, and maintain the company’s competitiveness in digital welding technologies.
  • Assist the production department in providing electrical production guidance and training for digital welding equipment, address electrical problems encountered in the production process, and ensure production personnel can correctly understand and operate the electrical system to improve production efficiency and product quality.
