Academic Sales Advisor, Education & Training, Jakarta
Role Overview
This position plays a key role in supporting the continued growth of an international education-consulting provider. The role is responsible for leading the sales function, driving revenue performance, and ensuring high-quality client engagement across all education services offered.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Engagement
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes.
- Identify, engage, and build rapport with new prospective clients via phone, email, and direct outreach.
- Conduct sales consultations and academic assessments professionally and in alignment with the company’s brand and service standards.
- Present, promote, and pitch education-related products and services following established sales processes.
- Build, develop, and maintain positive and professional relationships with customers.
- Ensure smooth and timely onboarding of new clients to the service delivery team.
- Contact existing clients to introduce or upsell new offerings or service enhancements.
- Support the service delivery team in resolving client concerns to ensure high satisfaction.
- Continuously improve sales techniques and expand industry knowledge.
Business Development & Lead Generation (as required)
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and refine lead-generation strategies.
- Identify opportunities for new campaigns, service improvements, and distribution channels to boost sales.
- Participate in outreach activities such as school presentations, career fairs, and educational seminars.
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Accurately manage and update client data in the CRM system.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams.
- Share insights with global marketing and sales teams regarding local market nuances in the education sector.
- Provide feedback to improve sales processes and customer experience.
- Produce reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activity, and potential service opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (educational experience in top global universities is a plus).
- Fluency in both English and Indonesian.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Good judgement, professionalism, and maturity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, educational sales, or professional services (e.g., consulting).
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
