Track Work Supervisor – MRT Project, Construction (Jakarta)
The Track Supervisor will oversee the construction, installation, and maintenance of railway tracks within tunnel environments. This position requires hands-on supervision of the workforce, ensuring that all tasks meet safety, quality, and timeline requirements. The candidate will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and site teams to deliver track construction works according to project specifications and standards.
1. Supervision and Coordination:
- Supervise daily track construction activities in tunnel environments.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workforce to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the use of equipment and materials, ensuring they align with project plans.
2. Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures for all workers
- Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards, particularly safety guidelines relevant to tunnel works.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as required.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Inspect the quality of track installation, ensuring alignment, level, and gauge are within specifications.
- Identify and resolve defects or issues promptly to avoid project delays.
4. Planning and Reporting:
- Assist in planning daily and weekly schedules for construction activities.
- Prepare and maintain progress reports, documenting milestones and challenges.
- Liaise with project management to provide updates and address concerns.
5. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Address technical and operational issues on-site, proposing solutions at site to minimize disruption.
- Make real-time decisions to ensure timely completion of activities while maintaining quality and safety.
6. Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of track geometric measurements, Track installation, turn out, Scissor cross-over installation, Surveying and maintenance of track, Data sheet preparations, alignment drawing, weld plan understanding and execution supervision as per the drawing.
- Familiarity with track geometric measurement equipment for tunnel track installation.
- Knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations and standards is a plus.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Tunnel and Railway Track Installation, Rail Flash Butt Welding, and AT Welding
- Certification: Service certificate of previous work experience & relevant local certificate from manpower ministry (if any)

- Basic proficiency in English language.
