Project: Construction of Rest Area / Rest and Service Facility (TIP) Placement: Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Contract Duration: Until project completion (estimated 6-12 months)
About the Project
Our Client is offering an opportunity for highly dedicated professionals to join the project management team for a strategic infrastructure project involving the construction of a Rest Area / Rest and Service Facility (TIP) in North Sumatra.
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate all on-site operations, including supervising the field supervision team and technical specialists.
Job Description
- Progress Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the project’s physical progress and cost realization to ensure achievement of the agreed Time, Quality, and Cost (WMB) targets in accordance with the approved S-curve.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate daily site activities with the Contractor and Supervision Consultant, including specialized technical personnel such as MEP Supervisors, to ensure weekly physical progress targets are achieved.
- Technical & Material Verification: Verify that materials, equipment, and quantities included in the contractor’s progress payment claims (MC) comply with the applicable Technical Specifications before approval.
- Coordination Meetings & Technical Solutions: Lead site coordination meetings (Site Meetings) to resolve technical issues and non-technical obstacles, including land and utility-related matters, and provide practical solutions and direction.
- Quality Control, HSE & Reporting: Monitor compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/K3L) requirements in work areas and review daily/weekly progress reports for validation of progress payment claims.
General Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or supervision, preferably in infrastructure, building, commercial, or similar projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in construction management, S-curve analysis, and interpretation of technical drawings and contract documents.
- Good understanding of construction technical regulations, quality standards, and project administration procedures.
- Proficient in relevant project management and engineering software.
- Supporting Competencies:
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Assertive, highly ethical, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, with an estimated project duration of 6 months.
- Willing to be assigned to the project site in North Sumatra.
