Job Location: Jakarta or Cikarang, Indonesia
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction of a new factory, equipment installation and commissioning, or the comprehensive takeover and integration of an existing factory.
- Fully oversee the daily operations of the factory in Indonesia, including production, planning, warehousing, logistics, engineering, and factory administration, ensuring safe, efficient, and stable production.
- Establish and continuously optimize production, maintenance, and lean management systems tailored to the local context in Indonesia, improving operational efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.
- Strictly enforce the quality management system and safety production standards to ensure product quality is 100% compliant with both Chinese and Indonesian regulations and company standards.
- Ensure the factory fully complies with Indonesian laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, safety, labor, taxation, etc., and maintain good public relations with local governments, communities, and relevant authorities.
- Be responsible for formulating and managing the factory’s annual budget, controlling production costs and expenses, and achieving key performance indicators set by the group, including output, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Production Management, or related fields. At least 8 years of production management experience in food additives, flavors and fragrances, fine chemicals, or related industries, including at least 3 years of full-scale factory management experience as a Plant Manager or equivalent.
- Proven successful experience in overseas factory management (especially in Southeast Asia, with a preference for Indonesia) or expatriate assignments, with a deep understanding of cross-cultural work environments.
- Proficient production operations, lean manufacturing, quality and safety management systems; familiar with factory construction or major technical renovation in projects.
- Proficient in Chinese and English as working languages.
Job Responsibilities (Additional Role):
- Regularly (once or multiple times per month) plan and conduct offline/online workshops, providing one-stop technical services covering product positioning, process design, and equipment configuration.
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends in Indonesia and Southeast Asia and leverage R&D outcomes to lead the development of targeted coffee product concepts, menu solutions, and complete commercial application solutions.
- Fully manage the daily operations, curriculum planning, and teaching team of the Jakarta Coffee Academy, ensuring that the academy’s courses and certification systems comply with international standards set by SCA, CVA, and other authoritative bodies.
- Regularly lead high-quality customer training sessions, industry presentations, and content creation, continuously providing professional insights to strengthen and enhance the brand’s professional leadership in the regional market.
- Be responsible for the planning, design, and functional layout of the Coffee Academy’s lab, as well as the evaluation, selection, procurement, and inventory management of barista tools, coffee equipment, green beans, and consumables, ensuring they meet the needs for training, tasting, and R&D.
- Perform other tasks assigned by senior management.
