Senior Sales Engineer, HVAC (Jakarta)

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive business growth in industrial air solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Chemical) and 8-10 years of proven experience in technical sales. This role involves identifying customer needs, proposing tailored solutions, and closing deals across industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, electronics, and manufacturing.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions (dehumidifiers, gas phase filtration, energy recovery systems, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to customize solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure post-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in technical or industrial sales.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, air quality solutions, or industrial process environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned region

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in B2B sales for industrial equipment or environmental control systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or food industry standards is a plus.
