Position: DSTF Junior Geotechnical Engineer
Industry: Mining / Geotechnical Engineering
Placement: Morowali, Central Sulawesi
Roster: 5:2
Key Responsibilities
– Support field geotechnical activities including sampling, in-situ testing, and monitoring
site conditions.
– Assist in monitoring geotechnical instruments such as piezometers, settlement plates,
and inclinometers.
– Identify and report potential geotechnical risks including slope instability, deformation,
and drainage issues.
– Ensure field activities follow technical standards, SOPs, and safety procedures.
– Prepare daily monitoring records, field reports, and technical documentation.
Requirements
– Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geological
Engineering, or Mining Engineering.
– Minimum 1-2 years of experience in geotechnical field work, instrumentation
monitoring, or tailings/DST-related operations.
– Basic understanding of geotechnical instrumentation, sampling, and in-situ testing.
– Familiarity with Dry Stack Tailings (DST) operations is an advantage.
– POP certification or geotechnical/HSE training is a plus.
