Job Description – Product Specialist (Medical Sales Representative)
The Product Specialist is responsible for driving sales performance and expanding market share within the hospital channel by promoting a portfolio of ethical/pharmaceutical products. This role involves building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, executing effective product detailing, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and detail ethical/pharmaceutical products (e.g. Respiratory, Neurology, Women’s Health) to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital stakeholders
- Execute regular hospital visits in line with coverage and call plans
- Conduct product presentations, in-service training, and scientific discussions
- Identify new business opportunities and expand presence within assigned territory
- Manage and grow existing accounts while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Representative / Product Specialist in ethical/pharmaceutical products
- Experience handling hospital channel is highly preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven with strong initiative and adaptability
- Willing to be based in Bali and cover assigned areas
