Job Position: HR Manager
Job Location: Solo, Central Java
 
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Overseas HR Manager to oversee end-to-end human resources operations at our manufacturing site in Solo, Indonesia. This role plays a critical part in aligning workforce planning, recruitment
strategy, and labor compliance with the factory’s operational and growth objectives, while ensuring effective implementation of group HR policies at the local level.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy & Talent Acquisition:
    • Design and continuously improve recruitment strategies, processes, and tools to enhance hiring efficiency and talent quality.
    • Partner closely with line managers and functional leaders to understand workforce needs and strengthen diverse talent pipelines.
  2. Workforce Planning & Organizational Optimization
    • Plan and optimize manpower allocation based on factory operations and expansion plans.
    • Anticipate talent gaps and proactively secure key roles to support sustainable business growth.
  3. Labor Relations & Compliance Management
    • Manage employee relations and labor communications, ensuring a stable and compliant working environment.
    • Establish and monitor local labor risk control mechanisms in accordance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
  4. Local Leadership & Organization Development
    • Support the development of local management teams through recruitment, training, and capability-building initiatives.
    • Drive organizational development programs to enhance leadership effectiveness and team performance.
  5. Group HR Policy Implementations & Projects
    • Execute group HR policies, systems, and initiatives at the local site.
    • Lead or participate in HR-related projects to support regional or group-wide objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, preferably with manufacturing or plant-based operations.
  • Solid knowledge of Southeast Asia labor laws, recruitment channels, and university / campus recruitment practices.
  • Proven experience in organizational restructuring, team development, and labor risk management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
