Role Overview
The Account Manager – F&B will be responsible for managing and developing key food industry accounts. This role focuses on distributing food ingredients and raw materials, particularly HVP, yeast extract, malt extract, hazelnut paste, etc. They’re seeking an experienced Account Manager (F&B) to manage and grow key trading accounts within the food manufacturing industry. This role focuses on distributing food ingredients and raw materials, particularly HVP, yeast extract, malt extract, hazelnut paste, etc. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B sales, key account management, and relationship building with FMCG and food manufacturing clients. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop existing key accounts in the F&B sector, including key players and other relevant food manufacturers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food industry, particularly in food ingredients and trading.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between our client and assigned clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs and provide appropriate product solutions related to food flavors, ingredients, and trading products.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain) to ensure timely delivery and smooth order processing.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities or risks.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance updates to Sales Manager.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers while maintaining profitability and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Chemical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development in F&B or food ingredients trading.
  • Experience handling large FMCG or food manufacturing clients is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Able to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.
