Role Overview

  • They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager (Tobacco) to drive business growth in the tobacco industry, specifically for cigarette flavor and aroma products. This role is responsible for developing and managing key client relationships with cigarette manufacturers, expanding market presence, and achieving sales targets.
  • This position is urgent and requires a candidate with proven experience in the tobacco industry (not vape/e-cigarette). The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales experience, a solid network within tobacco manufacturers, and the ability to work independently while reporting directly to the Director.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the company’s tobacco flavor business in Indonesia
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with cigarette manufacturers
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, operations, and production) to meet client needs
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the Director
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients
  • Represent the company professionally in meetings, industry events, and client engagements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the tobacco industry
  • Proven track record selling to cigarette manufacturers
  • Experience handling flavor, aroma, or raw materials for cigarettes
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Able to work independently and report directly to Director
  • Based in or willing to be placed in Surabaya
