Civil Engineer Manager, Sampala Project, Nickel Industry
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Manager to oversee the planning and
execution of civil projects in a mining environment. This role includes managing project scopes,
schedules, and budgets; leading teams and contractors; ensuring compliance with safety (K3),
environmental (AMDAL), and technical standards; and driving project completion within
timeline and budget constraints. The role also covers asset maintenance planning and internal
compliance auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Construction Management
– Define and manage project scope, timeline, and budget
– Lead coordination with internal teams and contractors
– Monitor and report costs, manage change orders
– Supervise logistics and material/equipment supply
– Conduct on-site inspections to ensure work quality
Compliance & Documentation
– Develop and update SOPs for quality, safety (K3), and environmental standards
– Monitor regulatory changes and revise internal policies accordingly
– Lead internal audits and regulatory compliance reporting
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
– Implement K3 programs including toolbox talks and PPE training
– Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, and improve safety protocols
– Monitor environmental aspects (air, water, waste) and enforce AMDAL mitigation plans
Asset Maintenance
– Plan and oversee maintenance and repair of company-owned civil assets.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
– Minimum 10 years of experience working in the mining industry
– Proficient in MS Office, Canva, web tools, and project management software (MS
Project/Primavera)
– Fluent in English (spoken and written)
– Strong experience in structural design, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM, and civil engineering
analysis
– In-depth knowledge of K3 (OHS), environmental regulations (UU K3, AMDAL)
– Skilled in risk assessment, cost estimation, cost control, and project forecasting
– Knowledge of surveying techniques, environmental monitoring, waste management,
and AMDAL reporting
Location: Sampala, Morowali, Central Sulawesi
Work arrangement: Roster 6:2 (6 weeks on site – 2 weeks off site)
