Electrical Safety Supervisor, EPC Project, South Jakarta

The Safety Engineer will ensure compliance with Indonesian safety standards during the execution of track work, power, signaling, and telecom installations in tunnel environments. The role involves risk assessment, monitoring safety protocols, and ensuring safe work practices in line with Indonesian regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans (e.g., fire, gas leak, electrical failures) tailored to tunnel environments.
  • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure safe practices are followed.
  • Implement safety plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to Indonesian regulations (K3).
  • Perform regular site safety inspections and ensure compliance with PPE usage.
  • Training: Conduct safety training for workers on hazards in tunnelling, track installation, and electrical work.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Establish emergency response plans and coordinate mock drills.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure all workers are aware of and adhere to safety protocols
  • Participate in pre-construction safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Conduct emergency mock drills tailored to tunnel conditions (e.g., rescue operations in confined spaces)
  • Coordinate with emergency response teams to ensure readiness in case of accidents or hazardous events.
