Account Representative, Oil & Gas (Singapore)
The purpose of this role is to promote and sell the organization’s products, with main focus on spare parts, services maintenance and project, while serving as the front line of customer contacts and undertaking tasks assigned by the management.
Responsibilities
- Day to day responsibility includes pursuing sales leads and visiting customers to meet targets, negotiating sales terms and closing orders to achieve revenue goals, and assessing customer needs to recommend suitable products and services.
- Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships with key stakeholders that will generate the future sales and repeat business
- Develop and implement sales tactics with line manager’s approval
- Gather market insight on competitor’s activity and sharing internally, to better respond to evolving market conditions and better understanding of customer needs and demands
- Plan and execute customer visits, produce reports, collect and share feedback to improve strategies
- Maintain Customer Information in Salesforce CRM to ensure information on the customer’s installed base is up to date.
- To assist with the account receivable collection as and when required
Requirements
- Degree in Engineer/ Marine or Business Administration
- 3-4 years in sales experience in Marine, Offshore or oil & gas manufacturing industry
- Fluent in English – both verbal and written
- Willing to work in Jurong vicinity
