PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – BUILDING CHEMICALS

Job Description:

Develop strategies and plans for product development, aligning with company goals and market demands.
Lead the product development from initial concept to market launch or significant product upgrades, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Research and analysis market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and ensuring products meet user needs.
Collaborate with marketing, sales team, and relevant department to explore new technologies and innovations and ensure that the product development process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Manage resources and budgets effectively and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Establish quality control processes, ensuring product safety, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality standards.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemist.
At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in product development as Research & Development or Product Development Assistant Manager/Manager, especially in building chemicals industry.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with a creative problem solving.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
Knowledge of product development processes and industry trends.
