EHS Supervisor, M&E Service Provider, Bekasi

Job Title: EHS Supervisor
Reporting to: EHS Manager
Location: Jakarta
 
Job Purpose:
Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining environment, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.
3. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001/OSHAS 18001), and best practices.
4. Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and engage employees.
6. Certification in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, SMK3, etc.) preferred.

Main Accountabilities:

• Health & Safety Management:
  1. Supervise and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulations and company standards.
  2. Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  3. Lead accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
  4. Support emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
  5. Collaborate with management and department heads to promote a safety culture and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Training & Awareness:
  1. Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Environmental Management:
  1. Monitor compliance with environmental laws (waste management, emissions, water usage, etc.) and occupational health and safety regulations
• Compliance & Documentation:
  
  1. Maintain and update EHS documentation, permits, and records as required.
  2. Report EHS performance metrics, incidents, and improvement initiatives to management.
• Leadership & Coordination:
  1. Supervise EHS staff or coordinators (if applicable) and provide coaching and performance feedback.
