Managing Director, Automation (Jakarta)
Looking for Managing Director (MD) Role.
Reports to: Corporate Sales Director
Scope of the function:
The MD is the overall responsible for managing the Sales Center (professional, commercial and personnel aspects) and ensures that the company is represented with integrity internally as well as externally to customers, authorities, partners and shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the organization in accordance with the Company requirements.
- Developing and fostering long-term customer relationship.
- Developing and implementing annual goals and objectives (business plans)
- Accountable for P&L as well as B/S
- Ensuring yearly budget and prudently managing organization’s resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations (responsible for financial performance)
- Ensuring the operational day-to-day business by overseeing all company activities (“run the business”) –
directly and indirectly through the Management Team - Further developing organizational structures
- Responsible for communication internally as well as externally
- Providing clear leadership
- Ensuring people development and succession planning
- Continuously developing the company culture based on corporate values
- Legally responsible for company affairs
- Submitting and implementing investment proposals
- Acts as role model for/within the organization
Professional Requirements:
- Profound experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the Automation Industry or in an industry with a
similar customer segmentation
Technical background and/or qualification:
- Experienced in working in an international (multidimensional) company
- Experience in a similar leadership role
- Experience in coping with the financial complexity of the business and understanding impacts on P&L and B/S
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Preferably MBA
- Further prerequisites: Fluent in English & local language
