Crypto and PKI Engineer/Developer, IT Solution (Jakarta)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Crypto and PKI Engineer/Developer to design, implement, and maintain secure cryptographic solutions across our product portfolio. This role involves implementing cryptographic standards, developing robust crypto libraries, and managing PKI architectures, while working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the security, scalability, and compliance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cryptographic Standards & Architecture
  • Define and maintain cryptographic standards, architectures, and governance
    frameworks.
  • Support the creation of crypto ecosystems across various company product lines.
• Software Development
  • Design and develop cryptographic software libraries to support enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate cryptographic protocols and
    controls.
• Key Management & PKI
  • Define key management architectures and oversee certificate lifecycle management.
  • Design and maintain PKI architectures for applications such as document signing, digitalization, and two-factor authentication (2FA).
• Vendor & Technology Management
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for PKI solutions, HSM platforms, and related technologies.
  • Stay current with emerging cryptographic algorithms, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
• Compliance & Security Operations
  • Support compliance teams with secure key management procedures, including handling HSMs and sensitive keys.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant information security standards, regulations, and best
    practices.

Requirements:

• Education
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cryptography, Engineering (Computer, Telecommunications, Electrical, Industrial), Mathematics, or equivalent field.
• Technical Skills & Experience
  • Proven expertise in cryptography, cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and related
    technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Java, C, Golang (other
    languages a plus).
  • Familiarity with commercial Certificate Authority (CA) products and/or certificate
    management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of trust service providers and PKI ecosystems.
  • Experience with cryptographic libraries (e.g., Bouncy Castle) and multiple HSM platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Awareness of and interest in Post-Quantum Cryptographic algorithms.
