JOB OPPORTUNITY: OPERATION DIRECTOR MINING (JAKARTA)
Our client, a leading mining company based in Jakarta, is seeking an experienced Operation Director to oversee and optimize mining operations. This role requires a strategic and results-driven leader with a strong technical background in the mining industry, capable of driving operational excellence, production efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to optimize production and site efficiency.
- Oversee end-to-end mining operations, including exploration, extraction, processing, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, environmental policies, and safety protocols.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, government agencies, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and implement technological advancements to improve productivity and sustainability.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in the mining industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mining regulations, operational management, and safety standards.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale mining operations and optimizing production.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to liaise with government institutions, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Willing to travel to site locations as needed.
