Purchasing / Procurement Manager, Constructions (Jakarta)
About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities across multiple project sites. This role is critical in
ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective procurement of goods and services that support our construction and heavy equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Transform the current Purchasing/Procurement department to be more timely and efficient Department.
– Develop and implement strategic procurement plans.
– Source reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive contracts.
– Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials and services.
– Monitor inventory levels and project purchasing needs.
– Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procurement standards.
– Coordinate with project, finance, and warehouse and inventory teams to align purchasing with operational needs.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
– Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction or heavy equipment industries.
– Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
– Familiar with procurement systems and ERP platforms (Odoo is a plus).
– Having proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
