Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing crude palm oil, preferably within the palm oil industry.
  • Strong domestic sourcing exposure, with a deep understanding of the local palm oil market and supply chain dynamics in Indonesia.
  • Excellent market research and analysis skills to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Indonesian, enabling smooth collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and sustainability practices related to palm oil sourcing.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trader CPO to join our client’s team. As a Senior Trader CPO, you will play a crucial role in sourcing crude palm oil to supply our client’s refinery. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, conducting market research, and ensuring a reliable and efficient supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and negotiate contracts for the procurement of crude palm oil (CPO) from suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality CPO.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of CPO.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, including price negotiations and terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth transportation and storage of CPO.
  • Provide timely reports and updates on market trends, supply chain performance, and supplier activities.
