Our client is an International software, systems engineering and security for military, defense, and navy is looking for General Manager with knowledge and link to government and defense industry in Indonesia.

Key Objectives (Purpose & Summary)

  • Stakeholder and account management: focal point for Naval, System Integrator, Shipyards Port and Airport Authorities, relevant ministries, Coast Guards and Indonesia partner(s);
  • Intelligence gathering: prepare and give information of current and future market, understand Indonesian law, and build the strategy to win in Indonesia;
  • Cooperation with other branches by building, growing, leading  and managing team in Indonesia;
  • Develop the selling opportunities in Indonesia
  • Getting more sales;
  • Build and join the company’s strategy in Indonesia;
  • Be the strong team leader and the first person of the company in Indonesia


  • Fluent Bahasa Indonesia, English and communications skills;
  • Understand of the Indonesian defense and military industry and its actors;
  • 10 years work experience in areas such as Business Development, Sales, Strategic Marketing etc;
  • Understand Indonesian business environment and operating culture;
  • At least bachelor degree is required with International Mindset;
  • Must have managing subordinates experience;
  • Business intuition and strong visionary thinking with the ability to convert blueprint and
    analysis into specific and measurable movement and deliverable;
  • Be able to understand and communicate technology, to a certain level, with zest;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent ability to collaborate with others and effectively
    deal with multiple priorities in a high-pressurized environment;
  • Keywords for success: Collaboration, strategic and conceptual thinking, practical,
    getting-things-done, adaptability, flexibility, perseverance, quality, continuous
  • Able to work in a form of organization;
  • Able to manage and plan working across several time zones


  • Draft team, drive and manage business
  • Increase channel  & demand in Indonesia;
  • Prioritize key campaigns according to supervisory goals like OI, strategic importance etc.
  • Further develop Indonesia business to engage into technical and after sales support;
  • Bring forward Drive cross company efforts to bid for complex programs involving Transfer of Technology as an active sales tool;
  • Increase Business channels and develop strategic key account partners and grow together with these;
  • Compile yearly plans  and maintaining the strategy and update in Indonesia;
  • Monthly and quarter report according to defined formats;
  • Ensure Indonesian auditing, tax and compliance are adhered to.
  • Work together as a close team with marketing team, ensure that  company gets the
    best PR and branding in Indonesia;
  • In close cooperation with group commerce, ensure and execute company’s
    participation in relevant identified shows and exhibitions;
