About Our Client

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Director with expertise in Oracle systems and a strong focus on digitalization to lead the IT department for one of our clients, one of the leading FMCG company in the tobacco industry.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT management, with specific expertise in Oracle systems.
Proven experience in implementing and managing Oracle ERP systems, database management systems, and other Oracle applications.
Strong understanding of FMCG industry processes and requirements, with experience in supporting business functions such as supply chain, sales, and finance.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies, architecture, and integration methodologies.
Project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with a focus on identifying and implementing technology solutions that drive business value.
Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts.
Knowledge of data security and compliance standards, with experience implementing and maintaining data protection measures.

Responsibilities

The IT Director will be responsible for driving the digital transformation agenda, implementing, and optimizing Oracle-based systems, managing IT projects, and ensuring the company’s technology infrastructure aligns with digital strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle technologies, a proven track record in digitalization initiatives, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth.

Develop and execute the IT strategy with a strong focus on digitalization, aligning technology initiatives with the company’s digital transformation goals.
Lead the digitalization efforts across the organization, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiency, customer engagement, and competitive advantage.
Oversee the implementation, customization, and optimization of Oracle-based systems, such as Oracle ERP, CRM, and other digital solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand digitalization needs and provide strategic guidance on leveraging Oracle systems and emerging technologies to drive innovation and business process improvements.
Manage and deliver IT projects related to digitalization, including system upgrades, digital platforms, data analytics, and customer experience initiatives, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and with expected quality.
Establish and maintain effective partnerships with external technology vendors, staying informed about industry trends, evaluating new solutions, and negotiating contracts to meet business needs.
Champion data-driven decision-making by establishing robust data governance practices, ensuring data quality and availability for analytics and business intelligence purposes.
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect digital assets and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and digital trends, providing recommendations for adopting new technologies and driving digital transformation initiatives.
