About Our Client

Our Client is a top global video streaming service & OTT platform to place a Head of AVOD (Advertising Video on Demand). This role is Jakarta based and is open for expatriates.


  • High value Ad Sales background or media agency background at the Senior Management level;
  • Master’s degree in computer science / business administration / relevant fields;
  • Over 10 years (around 15 years) of digital & operational experience within senior leadership roles at an international media agency having handled large strategic clients entirely;
  • Experience in managing multiple global cross-functional teams / projects with direct influence over senior level management and/or key stakeholders;
  • Possess an understanding of programmatic advertising and able to navigate the digital universe of Ads;
  • Have networks within and a working relationship with Facebook, Adobe, Google, SpotX, AppNexus, and other demand side networks.
  • Comfortable with digital advertising technologies;
  • Have knowledge of high value media and expertise in leveraging the latest tools / techniques to help clients navigate the complex Ad landscape via customized / tailor-made pitches which in turn brings about high impact long term clients;
  • Expertise in working with brands through own networks;
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management
  • Proficiency in English is a must and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage;
  • Ability to work and adapt well in an agile, ever-changing, and fast-paced environment;
  • Confident to represent the platform at industry events and able to deliver a clear presence during pitches, other client / company engagements, etc.;
  • Able to maintain existing network and continue to develop strong networks across the Ad Tech industry;
  • Willing to travel both locally and internationally as needed (approximate of 20-40%).


  • Monetization of the AVOD vertical via a combination of strategic and localized initiatives across direct sales, programmatic sales and content sponsorship sales;
  • Represent the brand’s value in Indonesia to agencies, other brands, and advertisers through industry events;
  • Generate high monetization of advertising avenues on the platform;
  • Bring forth a proactive and planned strategy / approach to set up the platform’s clients for success;
  • Develop and manage highly efficient Ad Sales team and partner with existing media consultants;
  • Responsible for the platform’s strategic representation;
  • Stay updated on industry trends and represent the platform at events, etc.;
  • Collaborate with content development team by offering strategic insights on overall sales initiatives;
  • Refine the platform’s unique selling points and value propositions;
  • Conduct industry vertical sales pitches;
  • Work alongside product management team on consumer research and new product features;
  • Closely work with the marketing team;
  • Own primary and secondary market research for the clients along with competitive intelligence;
  • Create strategic partnerships with key agencies to increase deal sizes and generate revenue;
  • Along with product team, work to generate training materials for the business development team;
  • Streamline vision for direct / programmatic solutions and content sponsorships;
  • Come up with strategic design and optimized delivery structures;
  • Build, Lead and Develop teams;
  • Responsible for proposal management of both direct & programmatic solutions.
